MySafe:LA is delighted to share that the Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) via their Listos California initiative has donated a new 2023 wildfire trailer to our organization. It will be used for both MySafe:LA and MySafe:Riverside events.
The trailer is an ideal addition to the MySafe:LA effort to not only organize residents relative to wildfire, but to create demonstrations, work groups, and related efforts in getting people’s homes and property better prepared against the threat of wildfire. “This is a welcome addition to the toolbox we’re assembling relative to wildfire education,” said MySafe:LA Commander David Barrett. “We’re grateful to CalOES and to the California Fire Safe Council for their support.”
The trailer is being outfitted with equipment and should go into service in December 2023.
