Notice of Public Meeting for December 15, 2022

MySafe:LA invites you to attend the December virtual meeting of the Los Angeles Fire Safe Council. The live, virtual (Zoom) meeting will take place on December 15, 2022, beginning at 7PM. Speakers will include Deputy Chief Richard Fields, LAFD Battalion Chief Mark Curry, and MySafe:LA Wildland photographer Greg Doyle. In addition, MySafe:LA Commander David Barrett, and several community partners will discuss important wildfire related topics. The meeting will include some history on the recent “Getty Fire” in the Sepulveda pass, how to join the wildfire alliance, and important pre-holiday safety information.

MySafe:LA is the Los Angeles Fire Safe Council (focused on wildfire), covering a wide geo space, and in collaboration with multiple fire agencies. The Los Angeles City Fire Department is the lead partner entity. It should be noted that there can be many Fire Safe Councils, and one of the objectives of the L.A. council – and the related Los Angeles Wildfire Resilience Alliance is to help homeowners to develop their own councils.

Refer to the posted meeting notice for specific information, Zoom details, and more.
