MySafe:LA invites you to attend the November virtual meeting of the Los Angeles Fire Safe Council. The live, virtual (Zoom) meeting will take place on November 17, 2022, beginning at 7PM. Speakers will include Deputy Chief Trevor Richmond, MySafe:LA Commander David Barrett, and several community partners. The meeting will include some history on the tragic 1961 Bel Air Fire, how to join the wildfire alliance, and important pre-holiday safety information.

MySafe:LA is the new Los Angeles Fire Safe Council, covering a wide geo space, and in collaboration with multiple fire agencies. The Los Angeles City Fire Department is the lead partner entity. It should be noted that there can be many Fire Safe Councils, and one of the objectives of the L.A. council – and the related Los Angeles Wildfire Resilience Alliance is to help homeowners to develop their own councils.
