MySafe:LA proudly hosts a FREE monthly virtual town hall where community members can stay informed and engage with important topics. Each session features updates and inspiring guest speakers, including elected officials, wildfire survivors, firefighters, and specialists in landscaping and defensible space, among others. It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect and learn together. Our town halls are typically hosted on the third Thursday of the month.
MySafe:LA invites you to join our FREE monthly “getting started” wildfire workshop, where you can discover how we support the development of Fire Safe Councils and NFPA FireWise USA entities. If you’re feeling unsure about where to start, why not attend one of our workshops? It’s a friendly way to learn more and get inspired. Our workshops are typically hosted on the fourth Thursday of the month.

AGENDA: This months’ meeting takes place on the 4th Thursday of the month. This is a special date for a number of important reasons – not the least of which is reporting to everyone on progress relative to wildfire mitigation, as well as our special guest, Eric Horne from Megafire Action. We’ll be discussing new legislation pending in the State Legislature that could unlock hundreds of millions of dollars for wildfire-related mitigation and resilience.
